This set called for creating a fictional Chinese dock in San Pedro. There was scripted action to occur under a gangway between the dock and a ship, which gave us the opportunity to make a funky custom set piece. The design went through many iterations, and many departments were challenged by working on, near, and in the water. In the end, we made a fantastic piece of China in the South Bay.
